It’s box truck versus box truck in one of this year’s greatest fights.
Last week, some dude stole a box truck in Malibu and proceeded to take it on a high-speed chase. We don’t know why he did it, but do know that the vehicle eventually lost control after striking three cars, and the thief was later arrested.
We also know that some dude in a Mr. Tire truck really tried to make that happen earlier. How? By engaging in truck-to-truck combat.

In the video, the cars can be seen going at it, with the Mr. Tire truck trying its best to get the stolen Lowe’s truck to stop. While one may see this as an act of a samaritan, in an interview, the driver of the Mr. Tire truck admitted that this was actually just a simple case of road rage. “He hit me first,” driver Roy Perdomo said. “He broke my right mirror, right fender and he pulled the front.”
“I got to admit, I was angry in that moment,” Perdomo added. But once he noticed that he was part of a high-speed pursuit, he explained, he immediately stopped and let the police do their job.
I can’t say I’d recommend vigilantism like this — but being the Batman of box trucks is a hell of a nice title.
